I found a new tool for the kitchen. I had lost the canning jar funnel that I liked; both H & I had looked all over for it. I have an old aluminium one that Mom had given me. I don't like it much but use it in a pinch.
So I happened to find a fancy dancy new one at the Publix.
So I bought it!
Not totally crazy about all of the new silicone stuff on the market but it can't totally away from it I guess. Plus, the collapsible part makes it nice in the cabinet.

And, after reviewing my IRA, I decided to purchase my first stock. I decided on Jarden, parent company of Ball and Kerr. Figured that I'd continue to help keep them in the black.....
