The Melander's were on a trip and I stopped over to water their flowers and veggies. They planted a peach tree. Made me think of the song...."Really love your peaches......"
Back to reality....
We got some of the first peaches of the season at the Farmer's Mkt. They aren't quite as sweet as what will come later, but, let them ripen on the counter for almost a week and they become juicy and fairly sweet.

He made it Sunday am and we took it in the afternoon to the Melanders. Put it on a bed of freshly picked romaine.....YUM!!!!
